Role description: This role is with one of our portfolio companies.

We are looking for a senior engineering leader to lead the technology and engineering charter for one of our consumer-focused portfolio companies.

You will work closely with the founders and product leadership to define the technology strategy, build a high-performing engineering organisation, and create scalable and reliable technology systems that can support the company's growth.

This is a leadership role that requires a combination of robust technical depth, product thinking, organisational leadership and execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Technology Strategy & Architecture: Define the technology roadmap and architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, security and long-term technical excellence.
• Engineering Leadership: Lead and mentor engineering teams and managers, establish strong engineering practices, and build a culture of ownership and high performance.
• Product Partnership: Work closely with founders,



product and business teams to translate business priorities into effective technology solutions and accelerate product velocity.
• Organisation Building: Hire, develop and retain high-quality engineering talent while building a strong leadership bench.
• Technical Excellence: Drive improvements across system design, engineering productivity, infrastructure, observability, quality and technical debt.
• Scale & Reliability: Build robust systems and processes that can support increasing product complexity, customer scale and business requirements.
• Innovation & AI: Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve the product and create competitive advantage.
• Exhibit a "roll-up-your-sleeves" entrepreneurial spirit, be a team player, and have a track record of leading and mentoring employees.
