About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support and ensure seamless IT operations across the organization. The ideal candidate will assist employees with hardware, software, operating systems, networking issues, and end-user support while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and operating system issues.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues.
• Support Windows operating systems and business applications.
• Configure and troubleshoot DHCP, DNS, remote connectivity, and network-related issues.
• Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.




• Escalate complex issues to internal teams or external vendors as required.
• Assist users through onsite and remote support.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and support activities following IT service management processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and operational requirements.
• Provide basic user training and guidance on IT systems and applications.

Required Skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of desktop hardware, peripherals, and system troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including DHCP and DNS.
• Familiarity with software installation, upgrades, and system maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues effectively.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and service-oriented support environments is an advantage.
