About the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager – Housekeeping to join the Housekeeping team at Fort Jadhavgadh – A Gadh Heritage Property.
The role will be responsible for assisting the Housekeeping Manager in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, guest comfort, and service excellence across guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, back-of-house areas, and the overall resort.
The ideal candidate should have solid operational knowledge, leadership skills, attention to detail, and experience in a luxury hotel, resort, heritage property, or large hospitality operation.
Key Responsibilities1. Housekeeping Operations
• Assist the Housekeeping Manager in managing day-to-day housekeeping operations.
• Ensure guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, corridors, back-of-house areas,



and other assigned areas are maintained to the required standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
• Ensure timely room readiness and coordination with Front Office for arrivals, departures, VIPs, and special requests.
• Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and maintenance-related issues and ensure timely rectification.
• Ensure adherence to departmental SOPs and hotel standards.

2. Team Management
• Supervise and motivate housekeeping associates, supervisors, and outsourced staff.
• Allocate daily duties and prepare manpower deployment plans based on occupancy and operational requirements.
• Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational priorities to the team.
• Monitor staff grooming, discipline, attendance, productivity, and performance.
• Coach and train team members on housekeeping procedures, guest service, hygiene, and safety standards.
