About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Banquet Manager to join our team. The Banquet Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing banquets, conferences, weddings, corporate events, and other functions, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional guest experience.
The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in banquet operations, event management, team leadership, client handling, F&B; service, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage banquet functions and events from booking through successful execution.
• Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements, menus, layouts, timelines, décor, AV, and special arrangements.
• Supervise banquet operations and ensure high-quality and timely service.
• Lead, train, and manage banquet staff, including captains, waiters, stewards, and support teams.
• Coordinate with F&B;, Kitchen, Sales, Housekeeping, Engineering,



and other departments for seamless event execution.
• Ensure proper banquet hall setup, table arrangements, seating plans, décor, AV equipment, and other event requirements.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, service standards, and hygiene.
• Handle guest queries, complaints, special requests, and last-minute requirements professionally.
• Prepare event schedules, staffing plans, function sheets, and operational checklists.
• Monitor banquet inventory, equipment, consumables, and wastage.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Monitor event costs and contribute towards achieving revenue and profitability targets.
• Conduct post-event reviews and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, wedding planners, and other stakeholders.
