Our Data, AI and Information Governance team helps Macquarie Asset Management use data and AI safely, responsibly and well across its global operations. We work directly with business and data teams to strengthen governance, manage risk and build a strong data culture.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will help teams across Macquarie Asset Management interpret and implement data, AI, and records governance requirements, ensuring effective controls are in place and compliance obligations are met. You will proactively assess governance outcomes, identify issues, and drive them through to resolution while partnering with stakeholders across the business.



This is an prospect for someone who enjoys working with detail and making a meaningful impact on how a global organisation manages and governs its data.

What You Offer

• Experience helping business teams meet governance, policy or control requirements in a data, technology or risk environment.
• Working knowledge of data governance concepts (ownership, quality, lineage, metadata) and of emerging AI governance expectations.
• A track record of owning outcomes end to end, including following through on remediation.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in documentation, evidence and traceability.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as APRA CPS 230/234 (or equivalent ie EU DORA, EU AI Act) is advantageous.
• Confidence guiding and influencing senior stakeholders across business, data and risk functions located across the globe.
