Qualification: Diploma / Engineering Graduate in Electrical /Mechanical.

Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing costing, project costing, estimation, production engineering or RFQ support.

Core Training: Manufacturing knowledge, product knowledge, process knowledge and project costing.

Computer & Systems: Very valuable skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and good knowledge of ERP systems and departmental trackers.

Preferred Exposure: Electromechanical products, precision components, assemblies, system integration or aerospace and defense manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Understanding of specifications, bills of material, quantities, Customer expectations.
• Initiate and follow up actions with Sourcing to obtain raw material, bought-out component, subcontract process, packaging and supplier tooling costs.
• Validate material specifications, sizes, yields, scrap factors, minimum order quantities, currency, duties, freight and applicable escalation assumptions.
• Maintain traceability of supplier quotations and cost references used in each estimate.
