Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Deputy General Manager (DGM) - Accounts to lead our accounts function in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will bring solid expertise in managing large-scale accounts, taxation, and financial planning, with prior exposure to infrastructure businesses and handling books of companies with a turnover exceeding 1000 Cr.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounts team, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial processes.
• Oversee preparation and finalization of financial statements,



MIS, and consolidated reports.
• Manage direct and indirect taxation, including compliance, assessments, and strategic tax planning.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Ensure statutory compliance under Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, and other applicable laws.
• Partner with internal stakeholders for audit coordination and ensure smooth statutory and internal audits.
• Provide insights and recommendations to management on cost control, working capital optimisation, and profitability.
• Implement robust systems, controls, and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
• Contribute financial expertise to renewable energy projects, ensuring proper accounting treatment and reporting.
