Zycus is seeking an experienced Country Director to lead and grow our India business. This is a broader business leadership role, not limited to sales — the Country Director owns the full go-to-market P&L; for India, including enterprise sales, marketing, and customer success, and is responsible for building a cohesive local organization that drives new logo acquisition, brand presence, and customer outcomes across the region.
The ideal candidate is a versatile business leader with a strong track record in enterprise SaaS or technology markets — this could come from a sales leadership, general management, or cross-functional GTM background. They will build and lead high-performing teams across functions, build executive customer relationships, and actively partner with Marketing and Customer teams to ensure the India business grows in a sustainable, well-rounded way — not sales alone.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the overall business strategy, revenue performance, and market growth for India, acting as the general manager of the region.
• Lead, coach,
and develop a high-performing local organization spanning enterprise sales, and working closely with marketing and customer success functions.
• Drive consistent achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Build and execute territory and account strategies to maximize market penetration across India's largest enterprises.
• Personally engage with C-level executives and support strategic enterprise opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
• Work actively and hands-on with the Marketing team to shape India-specific demand generation, brand-building, and market positioning — not just consuming leads, but co-owning the marketing plan for the region.
• Partner closely with Customer Success and Customer teams to ensure solid onboarding, retention, and expansion outcomes, treating customer health as a core business metric alongside new bookings.
