Data Platform Engineer – Merger & Migration

Key Responsibilities
- Execute migration of data assets, schemas, tables, and notebooks across environments.
- Update and validate data pipelines, storage paths, APIs, and connection configurations.
- Provision and manage cloud data platforms using Terraform and automation tools.
- Recreate user roles, access controls, and permissions within a centralized governance framework.
- Perform data validation, monitor migration activities, and ensure seamless cutovers with minimal disruption.

Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, IAM, EC2, and Lambda.
- Robust working knowledge of Databricks (clusters, notebooks, jobs) and/or Snowflake (warehouses, roles, integrations).




- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CI/CD deployment practices.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for automation, testing, and data validation.
- Understanding of IAM, RBAC, production support, and cloud platform operations.

Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Operations, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in migration and transformation projects.
