About the Position
We are looking for an experienced and energetic Principal to provide academic leadership, administrative direction, and strategic guidance to a B.Tech Engineering College. The Principal will be responsible for ensuring academic excellence, regulatory compliance, faculty development, student progression, industry engagement, and the overall effective functioning of the institution.
The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials, substantial experience in engineering education, proven institutional leadership experience, and a thorough understanding of the regulatory and accreditation framework applicable to technical education.

Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Leadership
- Provide strategic leadership for all academic programmes and departments.
- Ensure effective implementation of curriculum, academic calendars, teaching plans,



examinations, and assessment systems.
- Monitor teaching-learning processes and maintain high academic standards.
- Promote innovative teaching methodologies, research, consultancy, and industry-oriented education.
- Review academic performance and implement improvement initiatives where required.

2. Faculty & Staff Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate faculty members and administrative teams.
- Ensure appropriate faculty deployment, workload allocation, attendance, performance monitoring, and professional development.
- Facilitate faculty development programmes, workshops, seminars, and training initiatives.
- Encourage research publications, funded projects, consultancy, patents, and academic collaborations.

3. Regulatory & Accreditation Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements relating to technical education.
