Position: Satellite AIT Engineer-Mechanical
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Reports To: Lead – AIT

Job Summary:
Responsible for assembling satellite hardware, integrating mechanical subsystems, and verifying that the spacecraft by ensuring everything fits and functions flawlessly. One should run rigorous testing — vibration, thermal vacuum, functional,



and performance checks — to make sure each satellite can survive the extreme conditions of launch and space.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Mechanical Assembly and Integration
• Assemble satellite structures, panels, brackets, mechanisms, payloads, and subsystems.
• Integrate mechanical, thermal, and sometimes electrical components into the spacecraft.
• Install bearings, encoders, fasteners, and flight hardware according to engineering drawings.
• Perform structural bonding and adhesive operations.

2. Satellite Build Activities
• Build spacecraft modules and subassemblies.
• Route and secure harnesses, cables, and mechanical interfaces.
• Use Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) for handling satellite hardware safely.
• Support final spacecraft integration before environmental testing and launch.

3. Testing and Verification
• Conduct qualification and acceptance tests.
