About the Role :

- Develop, implement, and monitor fire safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans across the facility.n
- Ensure compliance with applicable fire safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company standards.n
- Conduct regular fire risk assessments, safety audits, inspections, and gap analyses to identify and mitigate fire hazards.n
- Maintain and monitor the effectiveness of fire detection, alarm, suppression, hydrant, sprinkler, and firefighting systems.n
- Coordinate periodic testing, preventive maintenance, and certification of all fire protection equipment and systems.n
- Lead emergency preparedness initiatives, including fire drills, mock exercises, evacuation plans, and incident response activities.n
- Investigate fire incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions.n
- Liaise with local fire authorities, regulatory agencies, insurance representatives, and external emergency service providers.n




- Conduct fire safety training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.n
- Manage and develop the fire safety team, ensuring competency, readiness, and compliance with established procedures.n
- Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to fire safety requirements, permit-to work systems, and protected work practices.n
- Maintain fire safety records, statutory documentation, audit reports, and compliance registers.n
- Support business continuity and crisis management initiatives related to fire and emergency situations.n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fire safety performance and emergency response capability.n

nQualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Fire Engineering / Fire & Safety Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.n
- Diploma in Fire & Safety Management from a recognized institution.n
