We are looking for an experienced, highly networked solar qualified Head to drive solar business development, sales, strategic growth and revenue across the C&I; segment, Government and Institutional solar projects.

About the Company

Grid Solutions aspires to become a leading Solar EPC company driving the clean energy transition across West Bengal. We aim to create a structured, high-performance direct-to-consumer sales engine providing turnkey solar solutions for residential projects under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. We also intend to foray into the C&I; segment parallelly.

About the Role





The Business Head - Solar (Commercial & Industrial (C&I;), Government and Institutional projects) role at Grid Solutions is a full-time position based in Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the C&I; Solar business and drive revenue growth.
- Identify, develop and execute large C&I; sales and business development strategies.
- Identify and pursue government PSU and Institutional solar projects.
- Track and participate in relevant tenders, RFQs, GeM oppurtunities and EPC requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers including government departments, PSUs, consultants, DISCOMs.
- Drive the complete sales cycle — lead generation, proposals, negotiations and closures.
- Develop partnerships with EPC companies, consultants, developers and channel partners.
- Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, contracts and pricing.
- Achieve sales, revenue, margin and profitability target
