JOB DESCRIPTION:
/n
We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator (Postgres DBA) to join our team.
/n
Responsibilities:
/n
Database Administration: Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MSSQL databases.
/n
Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize database performance for scalability and efficiency.
/n
Backup and Recovery: Implement and test backup and disaster recovery plans.
/n
Cross-Platform Support: Manage databases on both Linux and Windows Server environments.
/n
Solid hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL
/n
Proficiency in SQL, shell scripting, and database monitoring tools.
/n
Solid understanding of replication, clustering, and high availability setups.
/n
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
/n
Good to have:
/n
Exposure to Postgress/ Mongo cloud database services (OCI).
/n
Familiarity monitoring tools like ops manager, Prometheus and Grafana, SolarWinds
/n
Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.
/n
