nAbout the Prospect
nSKF Industrial Limited is seeking a highly motivated CA Industrial Trainee to join its Finance & Accounting team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical exposure to end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes in a listed manufacturing company, providing valuable experience in financial accounting, reporting, compliance, controls, and month-end closing activities.
nThe trainee will work closely with experienced finance professionals and gain exposure to corporate accounting practices, financial statements, audit requirements, and business finance processes.
nKey Responsibilities:
nMonth-End and Year-End Closing
n
- n
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.n
- Prepare and post journal vouchers (JVs) and adjustment entries.n
- Assist in timely closure of books and adherence to reporting timelines.n
- Review general ledger accounts and analyse variances.n

nAccruals, Provisions and Accounting Entries

- Prepare monthly accruals and provisions.n
- Support accounting for prepaid expenses and amortisation.n
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records.n
- Assist in expense analysis and account reconciliations.n

nGeneral Ledger and Trial Balance Review

- Monitor and analyse General Ledger transactions.n
- Perform Trial Balance review and identify unusual movements.n
- Support account balance validations and balance sheet substantiation.n

nFinancial Reporting

- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.n
- Participate in financial reporting activities in compliance with Ind AS requirements.n
- Support preparation of schedules and disclosures for reporting purposes.n

nBank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
