The role combines financial analysis, control over every fund outflow, and statutory compliance. The Controller will be the final approver for all payments and investments. Before approving any outflow, they will confirm that accounting entries, documentation, and tax and corporate law compliance are complete. They will also represent the company before GST and Income Tax (TDS) authorities. Key Responsibilities1. P&L; Analysis and Reporting Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L; statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyse income from investments, including dividends, interest, capital gains,



and rental or other income, and track portfolio-level returns. Present clear MIS reports to the Board, with commentary on performance, trends, and risks. Track expenses and cost heads, and flag leakages or unusual items.2. Budgeting and Variance Analysis Prepare annual budgets and rolling cash flow forecasts together with the management. Conduct monthly budget-vs-actual and period-on-period variance analysis, and explain every material deviation. Recommend corrective actions and cost controls based on the variances found. Monitor liquidity and plan deployment of idle funds in line with the Board's guidance.3.
