nWe're hiring an Automation QA Engineer to own quality across our Shopify apps, spanning API routes, a data sync pipeline, and a complex category tree UI. You'll define and maintain our test strategy across unit, integration, and E2E layers, and you'll be comfortable with the harder failure modes of async systems: retries, out-of-order events, and partial syncs.
nWhat you'll do

- Define and evolve test strategy across unit, integration, and E2E layersn
- Write unit and integration tests in TypeScript using Vitest or Jestn
- Automate REST and GraphQL API testing, including edge cases and error handlingn
- Test event-driven flows like Shopify webhooks, queues,



and the sync pipeline for idempotency, ordering, and retriesn
- Validate complex category tree UI behaviourn
- Own regression suites, bug tracking, and release readinessn
- Keep CI test runs fast, reliable, and free of flaky testsn

nWhat you bring

- n
- 4+ years of QA in a TypeScript/Node.js settingn
- Hands-on test authoring with Vitest or Jestn
- REST and GraphQL API testing experiencen
- Familiarity with Shopify apps or e-commerce platformsn
- Experience testing webhooks, queues, or other async systemsn
- Ownership of bug tracking and regression testingn
