Finance Controller | NetSuite | Remote

nWe are looking for an experienced Finance Controller with robust hands-on accounting and NetSuite experience to take ownership of core accounting operations, company-level accounting, and financial consolidation.
nThis is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable working directly in NetSuite, managing accounting controls, reviewing and approving transactions, performing reconciliations, supporting month-end close, and handling complex company-level and consolidation accounting.

nKey Responsibilities

nNetSuite / General Accounting

- n
- Approve journal entries and billsn
- Approve and manage vendor setup and approvalsn
- Reconcile bank accountsn
- Revalue foreign exchange accountsn
- Close accounting periodsn
- Upload and maintain new accounts, FX rates, and other accounting data in NetSuiten
- Reconcile balances between Abacus and NetSuite while the NetSuite implementation is being completedn

nCompany-Level Accounting

- n
- Reconcile payroll liability accountsn
- Record and account for equity activity, including grants, exercises, expirations, conversions, issuances, and capital raisesn
- Record and analyze changes in fair value of warrant liabilities and public investmentsn
- Reconcile intercompany balancesn
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies across accounts and entitiesn

nConsolidation & Financial Reporting

- n
- Consolidate existing entities and newly acquired companiesn
- Manage accounting for acquisitions, deconsolidations, wind-ups, and dispositionsn
- Prepare and post consolidation entriesn
- Perform cash flow proofs and reconciliationsn
- Support preparation of financial statements and related notesn
- Ensure consolidated financial information is accurate, complete, and properly supportedn
