Investment Solutions Group — Senior Research Analyst, Officer
Location: Bangalore, India
About State Street Investment Management
State Street Investment Management (formerly State Street Global Advisors) is the asset management business of State Street Corporation and one of the world’s largest institutional asset managers, with approximately $6.3+ trillion in assets under management. Founded in 1978 and headquartered in Boston, the firm is the fourth-largest asset manager globally and a pioneer in exchange-traded funds, having launched the first US-listed ETF in 1993. We serve a broad spectrum of clients — from institutional and individual investors to plan sponsors and financial advisors — through a leading global platform spanning indexing, ETFs, and active and quantitative strategies.
The Investment Solutions Group (ISG) is the investment team that develops and manages multi-asset strategies for State Street Investment Management, including strategic and tactical asset allocation, glide path design, and outcome-oriented solutions for institutional and retirement clients.

Role Overview
This Bangalore-based position sits within ISG’s Research team and reports to the Head of Strategic Portfolio Construction. The Senior Research Analyst will support the quantitative aspects of our Defined Contribution (DC) business, which represents approximately $300 billion in assets.
The role operates at the intersection of the investment organisation: partnering with portfolio managers and DC strategists on one side, and with the broader research organisation on the other. The successful candidate will execute research projects that improve glide path construction, asset allocation frameworks and modelling infrastructure, while translating those results into materials that support client engagement. Solid written and oral communication skills are therefore critical, as is the ability to present both one’s own research and that of colleagues across internal and external forums.
