The Prospect:
Every enduring company passes through one brief window: big enough that your work reaches millions, young enough that you still shape the machine itself. Wakefit is inside that window right now — from a two-founder mattress experiment to India's fastest homegrown home & furnishings brand to cross ₹1,000 Cr. Listed. Profitable. Joining a finished institution earns you a salary. Joining an institution mid-construction earns you a legacy. Wakefit will look very different in 2031. The question is whether it looks different because of you. You will run live sofa and metal fabrication
lines from day one, lead the operators, technicians, and contract workforce who build them, and own the shift-level output, quality, cost, delivery, and safety numbers the plant is measured on — the track record that fast-tracks Wakefit's next generation of production and plant leaders.
What You'll Own:
• Production & productivity — execute daily production plans and deliver shift-wise targets; monitor manpower, machine utilization,
and line balancing to improve OEE; and minimize downtime by coordinating with Maintenance, Quality, and Process Engineering.
• Quality — ensure every product meets approved quality standards, reduce defects and rework through root cause analysis and corrective action, and feed quality and customer feedback back into continuous improvement.
• Cost optimization — drive waste elimination and material optimization on the floor, and support cost reduction projects aligned with AOP targets.
• Delivery — execute production schedules to achieve OTIF targets, coordinating with Planning, Stores, and Dispatch to keep material and output flowing smoothly.
• Safety — ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements, conduct safety audits, and close out corrective actions.
• People management — lead operators, technicians, and contract workforce, and train teams on SOPs, TPM, quality, and safety practices.
• Continuous improvement —
