Role Overview
Pharmsight is hiring a senior engineer to own the frontend architecture of data-intensive products. You will turn complex analytical workflows into interfaces that are understandable, responsive, and dependable. This is a hands-on role: you will make architectural decisions, deliver features across the stack,



and remain accountable for their behavior in production.

Key Responsibilities
• Define the structure of React applications: component boundaries, state ownership, data fetching, routing, error handling, and reusable UI patterns.
• Build workflows for exploring and acting on complex data, including large tables, filters, drilldowns, dashboards, and long-running operations.
• Set measurable standards for front-end performance, accessibility, testability, and reliability. Investigate slow rendering, excessive network requests, and difficult user flows.
• Design API contracts with backend engineers and implement supporting endpoints or services in Node.js and Python when a feature requires them.
