Swiss Re is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Finance Specialist, Accounts Payable to join our Finance Operations team in Bangalore. About the Role

As a Finance Specialist in Accounts Payable, you will be at the heart of our Procure-to-Pay operations, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices for multiple Swiss Re locations around the world. You will work closely with suppliers, business stakeholders, Procurement, and Finance teams, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, internal controls, and service level agreements. This is a role where precision meets collaboration,



and where your contributions will be felt across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices independently and allocate them to the appropriate expense accounts in a timely and accurate manner

• Verify invoice correctness and ensure proper authorisations are in place before processing

• Archive all original documents in line with Knowledge & Records requirements and local regulatory standards

• Book direct debits, standing orders, and internal approvals accurately and efficiently

• Manage supplier queries related to invoice status, payment dates, discrepancies, and balance confirmations with professionalism and care

• Handle internal stakeholder queries related to invoice status, payment dates, discrepancies, and ad hoc reporting needs

• Deputise for team members and maintain a comprehensive overview of all team responsibilities to ensure seamless operations
