Role Description The MRD Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at United Superspeciality and Trauma Centre in Gondia. This role is responsible for maintaining, organizing, and updating medical records, including admission files, discharge summaries, diagnostic reports, and consent forms, in both physical and electronic formats. The MRD Technician will ensure accurate data entry, proper coding, and timely retrieval of records for clinical, administrative, and legal purposes.



Daily tasks include verifying patient information, tracking record movement, supporting audits, and maintaining confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations. The role also involves coordinating with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to resolve documentation gaps and improve record-keeping processes.
Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical record management, including filing systems, record retrieval, and archiving processes.
• Understanding of basic medical terminology and hospital documentation (admission notes, discharge summaries, investigation reports).
• Ability to work with hospital information systems, electronic medical records (EMR), and basic computer applications (MS Office).
• Robust attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
