Job description:

The Role Mandate The Research Engineer - Chromium WebEngine/C++ is a hands-on contributor responsible for developing, optimizing, and stabilizing the Chromium-based Web Engine for TV and embedded platforms. Working under the guidance of the Research Architect, the role implements feature enhancements, supports runtime memory reduction and performance optimization, and contributes to the long-term maintainability of Chromium on resource-constrained hardware.

Key Responsibilities Development and Feature Engineering
• Implement and enhance Chromium Web Engine features and optimizations based on architectural guidance.
• Implement changes across Chromium browser, renderer, and utility processes to support feature, memory, performance, and platform optimization requirements.
• Work on proof-of-concept implementations led by Technical Architects.
• Support the long-term maintainability of the Chromium fork.
