Project Role : Full Stack Engineer

Project Role Description : Responsible for developing and/or engineering the end-to-end features of a system, from user experience to backend code. Use development skills to deliver innovative solutions that help our clients improve the services they provide. Leverage current technologies that can be applied to solve challenging business problems with a cloud first and agile mindset.

Roles and Responsibilities

Development

• Implement backend and web-tier features in PHP 8.x in accordance with agreed technical designs and acceptance criteria.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for OTT capabilities such as subscriber management, catalogue administration, metadata publishing, and back-office workflows.
• Develop within the established framework, Laravel or Symfony, and follow its conventions rather than working around them.
• Write typed,



statically analysable PHP using declared types, strict types, constructor property promotion, enums, match expressions, and readonly properties where appropriate.
• Develop and maintain integrations with AWS managed services, including S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, RDS, Aurora, ElastiCache, and Secrets Manager, as part of feature delivery.
• Implement asynchronous and queued workloads correctly, including job design, idempotency, retry and failure handling, and dead-letter queue management.
• Produce unit and integration tests using PHPUnit or Pest to meet the agreed coverage threshold, and maintain static analysis using PHPStan or Psalm at the agreed level.
• Follow branching, code review, and CI/CD practices, and keep Composer dependencies and security audit findings up to date.

Java Microservices Integration

• Consume Java/Spring Boot microservice APIs from PHP application code, working to the publi
