Payment Posting Executive Account Payment Processing Job Description Duties/: Insurance & Patient Payment Posting/: Accurately enter and allocate manual checks, credit card payments, EFTs, ERAs, and paper EOB payments into practice management systems against corresponding patient accounts and service lines. EOB/ERA & Adjustment Processing/: Interpret complex EOB/ERA details to log contractual write/-offs, allowances, co/-pays, deductibles, co/-insurance, and non/-covered service codes in accordance with payor contracts. Denial Identification & Routing/: Identify initial claim rejections, partial payments, underpayments, and denials during the posting process assign standard ANSI/CARC/RARC denial reason codes and route unpaid claims to the AR follow/-up and denial management teams. Financial Reconciliation & Balancing/: Reconcile daily batch totals, posted bank deposits, and clearinghouse totals ensure zero/-balance variance between bank deposits and system/-posted payments and maintain audit trails.
