Objectives -
- Develop & implement a Distribution strategy for the unit which meets the service level expectations of distributors at an optimized cost
- Lead the change in preparing the unit ready in terms of meeting the Distribution needs with a focus on Wholesale, Rural and Premium products.
- To execute the Organization strategy consistently across the territories that enable delivery of effective distribution systems by rationalizing distributors based on distributor profitability and market control
Job Responsibilities
1.Distribution Strategy & Planning: To develop the Distributor Plan both in short term and long term and lead processes to assess and develop the capability to deliver the business expectation/Plan.
2.Wholesale & Rural Distribution: Develop strong Wholesale, Rural and Premium Product Distribution Strategy to leverage the growth potential in these areas.
3.Distributor Management:
Develop & Implement a comprehensive Distributor Management system to engage and transform the partnership into a long term sustainable relationship encompassing Induction, Business & Operations Planning, Training & Capability development, Infrastructure planning & Stock Management and Replenishments, Distributor Processes and ROI.
4.Process, Automation & Systems: Identify automation opportunities in the RTM processes and drive process finalization, system development and implementation with BSG. Track and drive on ground adoption and usage through capability development and engagement.
5.Cost Management: Manage overall cost with right mix of DSD & Indirect distribution, Wholesale, Rural and Premium product distribution. Support Zonal team in budgeting for distribution costs for the year including productivity improvements perspective; Monitor and control Distribution costs vs. BP and guide corrective actions in coordination with the zones as required.
