The Job

At AVEVA, we’re looking for an experienced R&D; Principal Technologist to join the Predictive Analytics product team. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building modern, scalable enterprise applications that work with large-scale industrial and time-series datasets and deliver rich, responsive user experiences.

The role requires strong full-stack development expertise with a primary focus on frontend engineering using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS, along with solid experience in C#/.NET, REST APIs, and backend services.

You will design and deliver complex product features across the full stack, contribute to frontend architecture and modernization, and work closely with Product Management, UX, QA, Architecture, and other R&D; teams. You will also help establish frontend engineering practices that improve performance,



maintainability, usability, and developer productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, responsive, and maintainable web applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.
• Lead the design and implementation of complex frontend features, reusable components, services, and common UI patterns.
• Contribute across the full stack, developing and integrating C#/.NET APIs, services, and backend components as required.
• Design user experiences that remain responsive and performant when working with large datasets, complex visualizations, and data-intensive workflows.
• Identify and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks, including rendering, memory usage, network utilization, data loading, and application responsiveness.
