Role Description The Scrub Nurse role at Lux Hospitals is a full-time, in office position based in Hyderabad. The Scrub Nurse will prepare the operating room, ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are sterile and available, and assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a safe, organized surgical field.



Responsibilities include confirming patient identity and procedure details, participating in surgical safety checks, monitoring and maintaining aseptic technique, and collaborating closely with the surgical and anesthesia teams. The Scrub Nurse will also be responsible for post-procedure instrument care, documentation related to surgical activities, and support for continuous quality and safety initiatives within the operating theatre.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Nursing skills, including patient pre-operative and post-operative care and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Candidates should possess foundational Medicine knowledge relevant to surgical care, including understanding of common conditions, treatments, and clinical terminology.
