About the Role
A Junior Engineer Trainee (JET)-Service in the construction & mining machinery sector essentially performs the role of a service engineer—handling maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heavy equipment like excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and compactors. The job is field-intensive, requiring hands-on mechanical and electrical work, adherence to safety standards, and direct interaction with customers.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of construction & mining equipment (excavators, loaders, compactors etc).
• Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Assist senior engineers in commissioning recent machines and conducting inspections.
• Ensure timely resolution of breakdowns to minimize machine downtime.




• Always follow safety protocols and environmental guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Completed Diploma in 2026 in Mechanical / Electrical/Automobile Engineering. Only 2026 pass-outs are eligible.
• Academic Performance: Minimum 60% marks in both SSC and Diploma.
• Academic Attempts: Candidates must have cleared all examinations and individual subjects in the first attempt itself. Candidates who have cleared any backlog/ATKT subsequently will be considered as having a second attempt and will not be eligible.
• Age: Not more than 23 years as on 1 July 2026.
• Medical Standards: Candidates should meet the company's prescribed medical standards, including:
• Minimum Height: Male – 152 cm | Female – 150 cm
• Minimum Weight: Male – 43 kg | Female – 38 kg
• Eyesight: Normal eyesight. Candidates using spectacles/contact lenses are eligible, provided the power is within ±6 dioptres.
