Global Opportunities works closely with the three academic Faculties as well as other qualified support services, students and external partner institutions and agencies to manage the development and implementation of a range of Global Opportunities. The role holder is required to coordinate and administer these programmes and provide specialist advice to prospective and current students, staff and partners on the opportunities, requirements and practicalities of the schemes on offer.
The role holder will work closely with prospective and current students, partner universities, Global Opportunities staff, and members of other University departments,
including the wider International Recruitment, Partnerships and Mobility team, to ensure an efficient and seamless service delivery across all programmes and activities.
The Study Abroad Team within Global Opportunities is responsible for both incoming and outgoing study abroad programmes. This role will primarily focus on the University's Visiting Student Programme (incoming study abroad). Working collaboratively as part of the Visiting Student Team, the postholder will coordinate and deliver the University's portfolio of incoming study abroad opportunities, supporting undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research visiting students who come to York to undertake a period of study as part of their degree at their home institution.
