Lunar Wave LLC is looking for a Creative Strategist who can consistently develop high-performing ad concepts for our portfolio of US-focused e-commerce brands.
We test and scale a high volume of creatives on Meta. Your job is to understand why people buy, why ads work, and how to turn customer problems, desires, objections and market insights into ads that convert.
This is not a social media content role. Your work will be measured by the performance of the ads you create.
What You’ll Do• Research products, customers, competitors and markets deeply
• Identify customer pain points, desires, objections, awareness levels and buying triggers
• Develop current angles, hooks, concepts and offers for Meta ads
• Write detailed creative briefs for video editors and designers
• Create concepts for UGC, VSL-style ads, image ads, advertorial-style creatives, demonstrations, problem/solution ads and other direct-response formats
• Develop ads around the root cause of the customer's problem, not just surface-level benefits




• Study competitor ads and identify patterns and opportunities without simply copying them
• Analyze our winning and losing creatives to understand why they performed
• Turn winning concepts into multiple new iterations and variations
• Work closely with Media Buyers to understand performance data and decide what to test next
• Work with editors and designers to make sure the final creative matches the strategy
• Build and maintain a structured creative testing pipeline
• Use AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, scripting and creative production
• Continuously find new creative formats and advertising trends in the US market

What We're Looking For• Strong understanding of direct-response advertising
• Experience creating or strategizing performance creatives for Meta Ads
• Strong understanding of hooks, angles, customer psychology and market awareness
• Ability to research a product
