Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SCCM/MECM OS Deployment Engineer responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving enterprise Windows deployment solutions. The role will focus on task sequence development, Windows image management, automation, troubleshooting, and supporting OS and hardware lifecycle initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain SCCM/MECM task sequences for Windows 10/11 operating system deployments.
• Create, maintain, and optimize standard Windows WIM images, incorporating OS patches, applications, configurations, and security requirements.
• Customize and validate deployment solutions for different hardware models, departments, and user profiles.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to streamline imaging, deployment, driver management,
and BIOS/UEFI configuration.
• Integrate and manage drivers, applications, scripts, and hardware-specific configurations within task sequences.
• Investigate and resolve OS deployment failures, task sequence issues, imaging inconsistencies, and hardware compatibility problems.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployment-related incidents in collaboration with Service Desk and field support teams.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation covering task sequences, imaging processes, deployment standards, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with Global IT Infrastructure, IT Security & Compliance, application packaging teams, and third-party service providers to align deployment strategies with business and technical requirements.
