Payment Posting Executive Payment Operations Job Description/: Responsibilities/: ERA & EOB Processing/: Post high/-volume electronic remittance advices 835 ERA and manual Explanation of Perks EOB statements across primary, secondary, and tertiary insurance payers. Payment Allocation & Adjustment Ledgering/: Accurately post check payments, EFT/ACH deposits, credit card payments, and write/-offs record contractual adjustments, co/-pays, deductibles, non/-covered amounts, and patient balances. Reconciliation & Balancing/: Conduct daily batch reconciliations matching posted payments and adjustments against bank deposit slips, merchant reports, and lockbox summaries to ensure 100% financial balancing. Variance & Denial Identification/: Identify contractual underpayments, overpayments, duplicate payments, and claim denials during posting,



assigning appropriate reason/remark codes CARC/RARC and routing non/-payments to denial management teams.
