The role
As an Senior Automation Test Analyst at Davies Technology Solutions, you will be a valued member of our quality assurance team, responsible for automated test coverage using Playwright and supporting continuous integration and delivery practices. Your work will help us deliver reliable and high-quality solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and developers to understand project requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and end-to-end scenarios
• Execute and maintain automated regression test suites
• Contribute to testing activities within agile delivery teams
• Identify and document defects and issues using appropriate bug tracking tools. Meticulously document defects, including replication steps, and proactively suggest remediation strategies.
• Build and maintain tests using the existing Playwright automation framework
• Follow established automation standards and best practices
• Contribute ideas to improve test coverage and efficiency
• Ensure test code is clean, maintainable, and reusable
• Support execution of automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
• Help ensure tests are stable and reliable
• Contribute to test reporting and quality metrics
• Work closely with developers and QA team members to ensure quality outcomes
• Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews)
• Collaborate with senior team members to continuously improve automation practices

Key skills and experience required.
• Experience in test automation in an agile environment
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, including: Writing robust tests, Working within or contributing to a framework
