Software Engineering Manager – Build and Release Engineering
We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the team responsible for build, release engineering,
source code administration, and sandbox tooling supporting large-scale systems, including the release pipeline for HPE Networking's JUNOS and EVO platforms. This is a working manager role: you will set direction and manage a high-performing team while staying directly engaged in the engineering work. The role combines technical depth with people leadership, requiring the ability to build and mentor high-performing engineers while driving strategic DevSecOps initiatives across the organization.
As a leader, you will define and execute the roadmap for CI/CD infrastructure, source code administration, and developer sandbox environments; partner with cross-functional engineering, release, and product managers; and establish best practices that enable scalable, reliable, high-velocity development workflows, all while remaining close enough to the code and systems to guide technical decisions credibly and unblock your team when
