The Sr Analyst will apply deep experience in BPMN Jira and portfolio and project management to design and optimize complex business processes for global clients in a hybrid work model. The role focuses on translating business needs into structured workflows improving delivery predictability and ensuring alignment between business and technology teams across property and casualty insurance initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit analyze and document complex process requirements using BPMN standards to create transparent and actionable models that guide implementation teams -Translate business objectives into detailed process flows and user journeys that improve operational efficiency and reduce cycle times across critical functions -Develop and maintain BPMN diagrams that reflect current and future state processes ensuring traceability between requirements workflows and acceptance criteria -Configure and manage Jira projects including workflows issue types fields and boards to support portfolio and project management activities for multiple teams -Define and optimize portfolio and project management practices by establishing prioritization frameworks tracking key metrics and enabling transparent progress reporting for decision makers -Partner with technology and business teams to refine backlogs groom user stories and manage dependencies in Jira ensuring that work items align with strategic objectives and release timelines -Conduct impact analysis and gap assessments for process changes identifying risks constraints and improvement opportunities while proposing pragmatic solutions based on data and stakeholder feedback -Prepare and deliver comprehensive documentation including process maps requirement specifications and status reports that enable consistent understanding across distributed teams in a hybrid work environment -Facilitate workshops discovery sessions and sprint ceremonies to clarify requirements validate
