Cohesity is seeking a highly experienced Software Engineer IV to lead the design ,development, and evolution of secure, scalable, and highly available Helios Control Plane services. This role plays a key part in advancing the next generation of platform capabilities that enable customers and strategic partners to efficiently manage, automate, and govern their environments at scale.
As a senior technical leader, you will be working with architecture, influence platform strategy, and drive execution across engineering teams. You will partner closely with architects, product management, customer success,
and field organizations to solve complex distributed systems challenges involving tenant isolation, scalability, security, governance, automation, and operational excellence. Beyond delivering technology, you will shape the long-term vision of Helios services and mentor engineers across the organization.
How You'll Spend Your Time Here
Technical Leadership & Architecture
• Define and drive the technical vision, architecture, and execution strategy for Helios services, ensuring scalability, security, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Partner with Architects and Principal Engineers to establish platform standards, reference architectures, and engineering best practices.
• Lead the design and development of critical platform capabilities that support large-scale enterprise and service provider deployments.
• Influence architectural decisions across multiple teams and drive alignment on long-term platform evolution.
