Role Purpose
The Manager / Senior Manager – Supply Chain & Raw Materials will be responsible for ensuring reliable, cost-effective and compliant sourcing of raw materials, tools and consumables – with particular criticality around specialty materials used in aerospace-grade manufacturing – in support of production schedules across the Aerospace, Oil & Gas and Industrial businesses. The role calls for strong material and market knowledge, sharp negotiation ability and the maturity to operate in a quick-paced, precision-manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end planning and procurement of raw materials, cutting tools and consumables required for aerospace, oil & gas and industrial production programs.
• Take particular ownership of specialty and critical materials – ensuring uninterrupted,



compliant supply given their long lead times and criticality to production.
• Develop and manage a robust, qualified supplier base across raw materials, tooling and consumables, ensuring adherence to certifications, traceability and industry/customer specifications.
• Partner with Planning, Engineering, Quality and Production teams to translate production schedules into accurate material and tooling requirement plans, avoiding stock-outs and minimising excess/obsolete inventory.
• Lead sourcing strategy for critical and long-lead-time items, including dual-sourcing, forward buying and risk mitigation for supply volatility (price, availability, market constraints).
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and long-term supply agreements with mills, distributors, tooling vendors and service centres to secure cost, quality and delivery commitments.
