Role Overview:
You will be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate news stories. Common duties will include developing news stories, writing or editing scripts and overseeing news segment production.

Responsibilities:
• Researching or evaluating news story ideas
• Writing or editing scripts for News Anchors or Reporters
• Communicating with Reporters, News Anchors,



Editors and other team members to ensure streamlined news reporting
• Studio production for a daily news broadcast. PCR based live news shows.
• Selecting or approving videos, graphics and other broadcast media
• Ensuring ethical journalism
• Working with technical staff to support broadcasting

Skills:
• 2 - 4 years of experience in news production
• Solid research capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to multitask and work under deadline pressure
• Proficiency with video editing and related technology, such as Adobe Premiere Pro
• Interviewing skills to discuss topics, gather quotes and support Reporters
• Scripting skills to combine storytelling with ethical, accurate reporting
• Flexibility to quickly conduct research on breaking news
