AutoCAD Design Engineer Manufacturing Drawings Job Description Experience/: 0 to 3 yrs Salary/: Based on Company Norms Education/: Diploma/BE in Mech Location/: In And Around Chennai Your Duties/: Detail Engineering & Drafting/: Create, modify, and finalize detailed 2D manufacturing drawings, assembly views, structural layouts, and piping/electrical schematics using AutoCAD. GD&T; & Tolerance Stack/-Up/: Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing /(GD&T;/) per ASME Y14.5 / ISO standards, perform tolerance stack/-up analysis, and define surface finish and fit specifications for components. DFM/DFA Feasibility & Layouts/: Conduct Design for Manufacturing /(DFM/) and Design for Assembly /(DFA/) reviews with production teams; maintain and update master plant layouts, machinery positions, and utility routing drawings. Bill of Materials /(BOM/) & Revision Control/: Generate accurate component Bills of Materials /(BOMs/), material take/-offs /(MTO/),



and process Engineering Change Orders /(ECOs/) while maintaining strict drawing version control.
