Job Description: Windows Server Administrator
Location: Hyderabad and Delhi
Exp Range: 6-8 Years
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Windows Server Administrator with hands-on experience in managing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise Windows server environments. The role requires robust knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, patch management, server monitoring, file services, security hardening, backup operations, and incident troubleshooting. The candidate should be able to work independently with business and technical stakeholders to ensure high availability, stability, performance, and security of Windows infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, administer,
and upgrade Windows Server operating systems across enterprise environments.
Manage Active Directory objects, including users, groups, organizational units, group policies, permissions, and access controls.
Monitor server health, CPU, memory, disk utilization, services, event logs, and overall infrastructure performance.
Troubleshoot Windows server issues, system errors, service failures, access issues, performance degradation, and user-reported incidents.
Apply security patches, cumulative updates, hotfixes, service packs, and vulnerability remediation actions as per organizational and Microsoft standards.
Manage file shares, NTFS permissions, shared folders, print services, Client namespaces, and file server migrations.
Perform file share migrations using tools and scripts such as Robocopy, PowerShell, and related migration utilities.
