Job Summary: The SPP&ID; Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of the SmartPlant P&ID; (SPP&ID;) environment used for engineering design and project execution. The role ensures system availability, data integrity, user support, standards compliance, and seamless integration with other engineering applications across multiple projects.
The administrator works closely with engineering, IT, project management, and design teams to optimize engineering workflows, manage databases,



troubleshoot system issues, and support digital engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
System Administration
· Administer and maintain the SmartPlant P&ID; application workplace.
· Configure projects, symbols, catalogs, and engineering standards.
· Manage software upgrades, patches, and system enhancements.
· Ensure system performance, availability, and reliability.
Database Management
· Create and maintain project databases.
· Monitor database health, backups, and recovery processes.
· Ensure data consistency, integrity, and security.
· Support data migration and database updates.
User Management & Support
· Create and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end users.
· Conduct user training and onboarding sessions.
· Resolve application-related issues within agreed SLA timelines.
