Your role and responsibilities :

You will be joining as a Embedded Software Porting & Validation Engineer in the Traction Division, based in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will work closely with global engineering teams supporting controller modernization, embedded software migration, customer project customization, type testing, and system validation activities for auxiliary power conversion systems. You will be responsible for migrating legacy customer applications to recent hardware platforms while ensuring functional compatibility, product quality, regulatory compliance, and successful deployment in applications.

This role is contributing to the Motion Business Traction Division in Bangalore, India

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Execute type testing,



functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and verification activities.
- Validate software releases after porting and hardware replacement.
- Verify control algorithms, communication interfaces, diagnostics, and fault management functions. Develop test specifications, execute test procedures, and prepare validation reports.
- Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer acceptance testing.
- Perform hardware-software integration for power electronic converters and control units. Use service and diagnostic tools to analyze field issues, event logs, and system performance.

Qualifications for the role :
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Control Systems, Power Electronics, or related disciplines. Minimum 5+ years of experience in Embedded Software Development on microcontroll
