• Lead the day-to-day operations of the US AP outsourcing process.
• Manage a team of Associates, Senior Associates and Analysts.
• Allocate workload and ensure timely completion within agreed SLAs.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, ageing and other process KPIs.
• Review escalations and ensure timely resolution.
• Own AP process performance and operational governance.
• Review payment runs and ensure appropriate controls and approvals are followed.
• Monitor vendor reconciliations, invoice exceptions and aged liabilities.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end AP close activities.
• Prepare and present operational MIS and performance dashboards.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to team members.
• Identify training requirements and drive skill development.
• Ensure compliance with client policies, SOPs and internal controls.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders on operational issues and escalations.
• Lead process improvement, standardisation and automation initiatives.
• Support transition and migration of new processes from clients.
• Assist in audits, control testing and documentation requirements.
• Maintain process documentation and ensure SOP adherence.
• Drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, turnaround time and productivity.
• Have hands on knowledge on the AP Process to step-in and support where required
Requirements
• 6+ years of AP experience with significant AP exposure.
• Strong people and process management skills.
• Solid understanding of AP operations and controls. US AP Experience preferred
• Excellent Excel and MIS/reporting capabilities.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Experience in managing SLAs, KPIs and operational governance.
• Experience with ERP/AP automation platforms. SAP S4 HANA preferred
• Strong problem-solving and escalation-management skills.
