Role Overview
We are looking for automation-focused QA engineers who can establish robust quality engineering practices for enterprise web applications. The role requires hands-on UI/API automation, integration testing, CI/CD integration, data validation, defect analysis, and release-readiness ownership.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute automation-first test strategies covering UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Translate requirements and acceptance criteria into comprehensive test scenarios and automated test suites.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or comparable tools.
• Automate API testing using Postman/Newman, REST-assured, or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates for releases.
• Perform database/data validation, negative testing, cross-browser testing,



and integration validation.
• Support performance, reliability, and security-focused testing in partnership with engineering and cloud teams.
• Use AI-assisted test-generation and analysis tools where they improve coverage and productivity.

Required Experience & Skills
• Lead: 7-10+ years in software quality engineering; Senior: 4-6+ years.
• Strong hands-on experience with UI automation using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent.
• Strong experience testing REST APIs, backend integrations, and database-driven applications.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and negative testing strategies.
• Experience with SQL/data validation, defect triage, root-cause collaboration, and release-quality reporting.

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, Gatling, or equ
