Key Roles & Responsibilities – Warranty Cum PDI | Jawa 2-Wheeler

1. Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)
- Conduct detailed PDI of new Jawa motorcycles before delivery.
- Check vehicle condition, fitment, accessories, fluids, battery, tyres, lights, and electrical systems.
- Ensure all vehicles meet company and manufacturer standards.

2. Warranty Inspection & Claims
- Inspect warranty-related complaints and identify eligible warranty cases.
- Verify defects and prepare required warranty documentation.
- Process warranty claims as per Jawa guidelines and procedures.

3. Vehicle Quality & Readiness
- Identify manufacturing, transportation, or fitment-related defects before delivery.
- Ensure rectification of identified issues through the service team.
- Confirm vehicles are fully ready for customer delivery.

4. Documentation & Records
- Maintain PDI checklists, warranty records, job cards, and claim documents.
- Ensure accurate recording of vehicle inspection and warranty details.
- Submit warranty and PDI reports on time.

Coordination & Follow-up
- Coordinate with Sales, Service, Parts, and Warranty teams.
- Follow up on pending repairs, warranty approvals, and claim settlements.
- Support the team in resolving vehicle-related quality issues.

6. Compliance & Reporting
- Follow Jawa warranty policies, PDI procedures, and quality standards.
- Monitor warranty rejection, repeat complaints, and quality issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly PDI and warranty reports.
