Key Responsibilities

§ Being proactive in identifying transport requirements (mode/equipment type/location/cost) based on customer demand (forecast and orders).

§ Plan and optimize transportation schedules and shipment execution.

§ Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, customers,



and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

§ Secure transport proactively through:
- contacting carriers (road) and shipping lines (sea)
- creating and tendering shipments

§ Monitoring of collections and deliveries

§ Attend daily/ weekly calls

§ Manage and report order changes (movements, additions and deletions)

§ Carrier Audits

§ Run reports for daily controls cycles

§ Ensure customer is proactively informed of any delays. Detailed reasons to be provided for any late shipments.

§ Creation of outbound deliveries

§ Attaching of orders (Release Schedule Instance/Release to confirm)

§ Efficiently plan and coordinate road freight operations by optimizing routes, managing carrier performance, ensuring on-time delivery, controlling transportation costs, and maintaining high customer service standards while complying with safety and regulatory requirements.
