Required Skills and Qualifications
• Proven experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of:
• Active Directory
• DNS
• DHCP
• Certificate Authority (CA)
• Network Policy Server (NPS)
• Patch management
• Infrastructure monitoring tools
• Antivirus/endpoint protection management
• Experience troubleshooting authentication, Group Policy, name resolution, IP addressing, and certificate-related issues.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident management, change management, and problem management.
• Solid analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability and willingness to participate in an on-call support rotation.
Preferred Qualifications
• Microsoft certifications such as Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, Azure Administrator, or equivalent.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with SIEM, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and enterprise monitoring platforms.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Administer and maintain Active Directory,
including user accounts, groups, organizational units, Group Policies, and domain controllers.
• Manage DNS and DHCP services, including configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and lifecycle maintenance.
• Support Certificate Authority (CA) and Network Policy Server (NPS) infrastructure.
• Configure and support ADFS for authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations.
• Lead AD migrations, upgrades, and integration projects as required
• Plan, test, and deploy operating system and application patches in accordance with change-management procedures.
• Monitor server, network, and infrastructure health; investigate alerts and resolve service issues.
• Administer enterprise antivirus/endpoint protection tools, including policy management, reporting, incident response, and signature updates.
• Perform regular system health checks, capacity reviews, and documentation updates.
