As a Software Engineer II on the Monetization Platform team at Indeed, you will design, build and support the shared backend systems that power how employers advertise jobs across every Indeed surface. The platform is the backbone for sponsoring jobs and is tightly integrated with Indeed's revenue-driving fulfilment flows - directly shaping one of Indeed's most business-critical revenue streams.
In this role, you'll contribute to technical design decisions across campaign management, sponsorship serving, integrations, and platform enablement — innovating and collaborating with engineers, product managers, SREs, and partners across time zones. You'll leverage AI-assisted software development tools to move faster, use data and observability to validate your work, and help remove technical barriers for the many teams that build on top of the platform. You will build and support highly resilient systems that are also optimised for scalability and performance. In doing so,



you'll continue to deepen your expertise in large-scale distributed systems while helping grow the engineers around you.

Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance software systems
Contribute to system architecture and technical design, validating solutions through data and experimentation where appropriate
Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high engineering standards
Own and support applications during business hours, ensuring system health and reliability
Use metrics, logging, and analytics to make data-informed decisions and improve system performance
Collaborate closely with partners across engineering, product, data science, and design to deliver solutions
Contribute to cross-team initiatives and support the growth of other engineers through mentorship and knowledge sharing
